No photoshop. Just the kit lens and a tripod. Ignore the background. (future studio) lol!

I finally switched from CRT to LCD. I had the wide LCD for quite some time, connected to our second computer which I use just for browsing the internet. I only trusted CRT for critical color work so my heavy 19-incher became my workhorse for years.
I decided to give the LCD another go since it has benefits like having a smaller footprint and wider screen. Unlike before, I now have the huey so I’m sure colors are more accurate. I just hate it when the colors change depending on the viewing angle. I know LCDs have this inherent property but it might also be exasperated by the fact that this is a cheap $200 monitor. If I look down, there is a magenta tinge; if I look up,there is a bluish tinge! I hope it does not affect my work — or probably I can just work in black and white from now on!

The site is still messy but I think it is much better than the previous one. I’ll try to put more functionality to the site soon, hopefully before we leave for Boston.
Have a good night folks!

Ah, finally! My online portfolio is online! Just random images taken in the last few months. I had a hard time figuring out how to upload to the server which was complicated by a previous site I made a long time ago using default tools provided by my hosting company.

I processed the images to take advantage of the slight unfocus, making it more likely to be shot by a Holga with Velvia film. In fact, the Lensbaby is a nice cheap (despite the higher price) alternative of a Holga Camera. Personally, I like the images of a Holga camera but I hate dealing with film which can be expensive in the long run.
Understandably, these type of images are not preferred by some people.
