Looking back at my last year’s bird photos, I noticed that although some of them are good, most of them are birds posed in there perches. I remember one time, when we were shooting the ospreys in BCA and every time the osprey flies away, everybody just stops shooting and look disappointed that it flew. Nobody, well, me at least, didn’t think that if we just kept on shooting, we would have more interesting shots. This year, I am challenging myself by taking more "birds in flight" shots. It is one of main reason why I got the D300, to be able to go beyond my D50’s 2.5fps last year to the D300’s 6-8fps.
